COMMENTS FROM OUR VISITORS . . .

"My brother told me about your web site and I just finished reading your paper on Modesty.  It is 1 o'clock in the morning here and I need to get to bed, but I wanted you to know that I agree with all that you wrote. I hope to hear from you. I feel a bond with you already. You will appreciate what we've been through and how God is leading us now."
"I have been blessed to have come across your Outreach web site. Over the past several months, I have listened to several of your messages and those of Bro. Murphey.  I enjoy the fact that the messages are not lengthy, yet uplifting."
"Now I have been reading the article aloud to my husband each day as we drive home from work, and I’m almost to the end. It’s something. Every little bit he will say, 'Amen!' or 'Wow!' The Lord has helped us to come a long way about many of these issues. What we really try to do is to please the Lord with how we live, which means understanding what God requires of us and then living a balanced (modest!) life. Oh, there is so much involved, but praise God, there is freedom in Christ Jesus, our Lord! I have found that there are voices in my head—the “kicker” is to recognize the origin of these voices—the sweet Spirit of the Lord, or the echo of tradition, or the cunning of the devil himself. Because of the years of hearing things taught a certain way, it takes much prayer and study of His Word to know for sure the Lord is leading. One thing I have found myself doing so much in the last few weeks is to pray for “mercy on my soul.” I want to be clear and not confused, to know that what I am choosing to allow is okay, and then to know that if I died today, I would be with Jesus.  May God bless you and continue to lead you in all things."

"Oh, I wish we could be there!!! Please say 'hello' to everyone for us. You all keep encouraged! Just knowing you are there, and knowing that you would understand many of our problems, and knowing we can walk into your chapel and look around and have love, compassion, and understanding toward all.... Wow, what a blessing! Praise the Lord!"

"It gladdens my heart to write you in expression of joy over what the Lord has used you to do over there in America. Recently, Bro. Essien briefed me of his visit to the States and your labors in the gospel field in propagating the truth via Church of God Outreach. I am immensely glad for that. My prayer is that God should uphold you, give you divine wisdom and empower you to propagate the whole revelation of God's will to this generation in this evening time. Please pray for the manifestation of God's purpose in the Churches of God in Nigeria."

"I am rejoicing and crying at the same time. I want you to know that I teach it just the same way. Every day the Lord sends someone my way and I give that same message of truth. That is why I am sitting here crying. Fellowship is so precious. One thing is for certain: I have made a stand not to teach anything not supported by Scripture. I want so badly to come and be in service with you, and how I wish that I could have you come and meet with us. I am begging your agreement in prayer...."

"Hello!!!  Much love to you and those in your care.  I listened to the anniversary service via the internet and was thoroughly inspired by you telling of how you all were given your chapel for essentially $200. God is amazing!  Well, I figured that if He could do it for you all, He can do it for us. We'd be honored if you could pray with us toward acquiring a particular building. Thanks so much for your valued prayers. May God BLESS the COG Outreach in every way with everything needed to impact individuals, families, and the community for Christ."

"Thank you ... we feel this has been long in coming. We are praying for you and all who are working there in reaching out to hurting souls. May God bless your labors of love."

"Thank GOD for his mercy to us ... we do not know how much he really blesses us. We thank GOD that the chapel is looking so good; I wish that we were located closer to your area so we could attend  services...."

"I was very moved by your letter. I myself am searching for the same type of ministry. Where are you located? How can we connect together? I need some help to start if you can get me in touch with your team."

"We send greetings in the precious name of Jesus.  We were so disappointed that we missed your Christmas program, but was so glad for the opportunity of meeting many of your congregation. It is always a blessing to meet others of the family of God. We are encouraged as we see how God is working in these last days amongst His people. We surely love God, the truth and His people. We hope to get to come your way again some time soon. We hope you will feel free to come our  way anytime as well...."

"I've been to several other churches, and you seem to be different from them. I definitely plan on coming back."

"Wasn't tonight a most satisfying meeting? Anyone there with an honest heart would have to say that you are truly an outreach endeavor."

"Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed being there tonight for the Christmas service. It brought back childhood memories. I'm glad my children will have some of those memories too."

"I realize I'm a stranger to you folks, but I'm no stranger to God. My son-in-law and daughter live down here. We came by and you were cleaning up the church yard and God put a burden on my heart for this little church. I went back to Hugo, Oklahoma and I requested prayer for this church. There's some kind of love in my heart given by God Almighty for this church and I don't know what it is, but I know it's God's work. I know that God's on your side ... know that you're in my prayers every day...."

"Greetings from Cleveland, OK. We appreciated the opportunity of meeting you in Vichy during the revival meeting in November. We would like to come your way sometime soon. I was also wondering if you had any special services scheduled for the holiday season? We have enjoyed your web site, you've really done an excellent job on it.  We trust God to bless and keep you true and faithful to Him."

"I finally had a few minutes to check out the web site and it is great. Very encouraging and inspirational! I just want you to know that the messages and services are always very challenging and encouraging and have caused me to search deeper.... I have especially been challenged by the concept of actually carrying a burden for those who don't know Christ and of asking God to let us be a witness to someone or many someones! The message Sunday night [Dec. 1, p.m.] really rang true in my heart, and was so refreshing ... it's just hard to put into words. And the thoughts about prayer on Sunday morning were enlightening. I want you both, Bro. Wayne and Sis. Grace, to know how much you are appreciated. May God continue to bless you!"

"Thank GOD!!!!! I'm glad that we finally have some real gospel news out there on the WWW ... this has to be another way for GOD'S Word to get out to the world.
Psalms 37 says: " Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity."  We must carry on the great work of GOD ... please pray for us that we can be all that the Lord would have us to be...."

"**** told me she talked to **** and he told her he really likes your church. He feels very comfortable there and is enjoying it. You never know how your life decisions will affect some one else. **** may never have gone to church if you had not made the decisions that you did. So we need to think that all things work out for the best."

"Thank you so  much for praying for my friend. She called me this morning and talked about how she needs to change her way of life. She understands that she needs God in her life. She also confessed to me how that if she was going to take her life, last night would have been the night. She was at her lowest and yet she didn't do it. Thank you so much for praying for her. I know that had something to do with it."

"We got it ... your new web site, that is. Thank you. We enjoyed going over it and reading the different things. We're looking forward to seeing you all in a few weeks and having a wiener roast with guitar playing and singing. 'The cobwebs are gone, the glory responding to the new found joy springing within. We reach for the outcast, no time for reclining, to those who are groaning in sin.' Yes, Jesus is still in the saving business. Taking Jesus to the lost is the only reason for the church to exist."

"*** and I were abundantly blessed by everything that took place during our recent visit to Guthrie. The heartfelt, unintimidating fellowship was so refreshing and encouraging, and the anointed message Sunday morning by Brother Matthews about bearing fruit, the wonderful congregational singing, and the special singing have been a source of spiritual stimulation since that time. The spirit throughout the entire service filled a deep longing that has been evident to us for a long time. We both were pinching ourselves to make sure it was real. We are so grateful to the Lord and to all of you folks who made it happen. Be assured that, by God’s grace, we will return as often as possible.
Thank you for your extended invitation on your web site for anyone to share his/her testimony. Since Labor Day weekend, when we were privileged to partake of Saturday’s fellowship and Sunday morning’s services with the Church of God Outreach folks, I have had a burning desire to share my heart."

"We rejoice with you in our hearts that the efforts and sacrifices in the new outreach work are providing such encouragement to others. We are planning on coming down for services."

"Thanks for getting the services on the computer; I enjoyed listening to them."

"Good evening Sis. Grace. Thank you for putting the sermons online. We are blessed by listening to them."
"Grace to you!  Hope you and yours are doing well. Just wanted to let you know that I visit the church's website often and have listened to some of the messages. The one on praising the Lord was right down one of my favorite alleys.  :) The message on the law and grace struck a familiar cord with me.  I've been on a journey for several months now learning how to live under grace and walk in alignment with the Spirit so as not to "frustrate the grace of God."  (Gal. 2:21, KJV). I am learning that I am saved by GRACE through FAITH,  that salvation is a GIFT. (Eph. 2:8)  We can't "stay saved" by works. All the credit/glory goes to Christ alone because only through His blood are we who are His innocent before the throne despite the accuser. It seems that for some it is a little easier to understand that getting saved is through faith than it is to understand and operate in that SAME faith to maintain salvation and access healing and all the other graces in Christ. Hallelujah!! God is so patient with us despite our ignorance. I wish I could visit.... Just wanted to send encouragement your way.  May God increase to infinity your capacity to receive from Him and give to others. May He increase your passion for Him and your compassion for humanity."

"I am thrilled at the web page. As I read this my heart just swelled up with joy because this is what I am trying to do here at ***.  I wish that we could meet you and your fellowship. This is what needs to be spread all over the world.  I would like to print your home page in our local newspaper. I copied it and ask my son to read it and my wife. I am so excited about this that I wish we could meet face to face. We have been pastoring for 2 years here at *** and God has blessed us so much. We are beginning to see a revival in our young people that I have not seen in a long time. This what is needed so badly every where. Love is freedom's law. I thank God for my freedom more and more. God has loosed us from people that we don't have to be afraid of what people will say but only need to be concerned if we are pleasing God or not. And it is so precious to trust in Jesus for our freedom. We need more of this fire of God all over the world. Thank you so much for this web site. It has put into words what I feel in my heart tonight. May God bless your efforts richly. We hope to meet you soon...."

"I accept your burden.  I know that the Lord will lead you in how to help these dear ones heal ... I will pray for the work there."

"Hello! I see that you have the church building; that is so wonderful. Like *** said, it was God's will for you to start a new congregation and He has worked things out for you. The devil tried to stop you but God wanted you and Bro. Wayne to do this or He wouldn't have made it possible. Stay encouraged."

"I was touched at the 'shepherd ministry' that is there. The point that we must never lose is the ministry of Christ. It's the shepherding atmosphere, the honesty, and the love that people are looking for."

"I will try to download the services at home this weekend. Home is where we need them anyway since we are going to listen to those sermons during our Sunday morning and Sunday evening worship times."
